I don’t buy juice. Well, I guess I won’t say never, but at the moment I can’t think of any that I buy. I occasionally go to the Smoothie Factory for a smoothie or a wheatgrass shot. I am a water lover and usually have water with me, in my purse everywhere I go. Even if I come to your house for a barbecue. LOL!
I have a grandson and although my daughter buys him juice, not drink, we dilute it with water.
I have never heard of naked Juice products, until I came across the lawsuit online, somewhere. Below is part of an article:
The lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, was consolidated from five class action complaints filed against Naked Juice, which is owned by PepsiCo. The lawsuit alleged the company violated state and federal laws and consumer protection statutes related to advertising, labeling and marketing of certain products.
“The lawsuit claims that the eligible products contain ingredients that are not ‘All Natural’ and contain GMOs (or Genetically Modified Organisms). Naked Juice denies all these claims,” the settlement website says.
The settlement website launched last week after Naked Juice and the plaintiffs announced a settlement last month.
A spokeswoman for Naked Juice said the company is “pleased to have reached this agreement.”
“Our juices and smoothies are made with all-natural fruits and vegetables—with no added sugar and no preservatives,” the company spokeswoman said in a statement. “In some products, we also include an added boost of vitamins. Naked juice and smoothies will continue to be labeled ‘non-GMO,’ and until there is more detailed regulatory guidance around the word ‘natural’ ―we’ve chosen not to use ‘All Natural’ on our packaging.”
Maybe it's me, but if you put "All Natural" then it needs to be "All Natural." If you put natural I usually deduce some of it is and maybe a few ingredients are not. But that's just me.
This "green Juice" pictured, is made up of, banana, kiwi, mango, pineapple, and apple. Again maybe it's me, but, how is this a "green juice?"
Where’s the green? When I hear green I’m thinking veggies. Maybe that’s just me, but People seem to love it.
If I come across it, maybe I will try these. Oh I forgot they say no GMO's in their products, but they are accused of using them. I'll stay away. Can't miss what I've never had. I use my home juicer anyway.
Have you ever juiced kale and pineapple? It’s so good, at least to me. I just finished a 3 day juice fast. I feel amazing. Check out some videos of me juicing. (Our youtube channel is here.)
Ok, enough about me.
I went to their facebook page (Naked Juice) and people seem to love them. People love what they love, regardless of how others feel about it.
I just found this interesting and thought I’d write about it. Just my thoughts for today, as I feel sleepy and think I need a nap. LOL!
Read labels people.
Have you ever had Naked Juice? Are you still drinking it after this settlement why or why not?
